Our headline sponsor, Hall & Woodhouse, work closely with us to award residencies and commissions to artists and makers. Take a look at our previous projects. We look forward to collaborating with Hall & Woodhouse again for Dorset Art Weeks 2026.
2022
The Dorset Art Weeks 2022 event delivered three artist residencies, supported by the event’s headline sponsors, Hall & Woodhouse.
Through an open call, the commission opportunity attracted submissions from artists based in Dorset who were members of Dorset Visual Arts and/or participants in Dorset Art Weeks, including, as well as recent graduates.
Three artists were selected who produced a series of works, reflecting on the life of Hall & Woodhouse brewery and its staff through engagement and observation; working both on-site and back in the studio.
The work was presented at the Launch of Dorset Art Weeks at The Crown Hotel in Blandford Forum.

2024
For Dorset Art Weeks 2024, two artists were selected as the offer grew and evolved from the 2022 opportunity.
Charlotte Heath and Jack Dickson explored the family and community aspects of Hall & Woodhouse’s work. Jack created new pieces on-site, focusing on long-serving employees, while Charlotte visited Hall & Woodhouse locations to paint patrons enjoying the Duchess of Cornwall in Poundbury, and the Smuggler’s Inn at Osmington Mills.
