These key dates will help you plan your participation in Dorset Art Weeks 2027.
Registered artists will receive precise updates as the event delivery progresses via their nominated venue lead contact.
2026
Monday 2nd November
Registration for venues opens
Tuesday 3rd November
Dorset Art Weeks Get Together at The Duchess of Cornwall Inn, Poundbury DT1 3DD to meet other artists and hear from the Team about plans for the 2027 event. A relaxed social where you can ask questions, share plans, collect early flyers and meet artists from across Dorset.
Wednesday 9th December
Registration closes at 5pm. Registration forms must be fully complete and submitted with payment made by this date. We do not accept late entries.
2027
By early March
You will receive a proof of your entry in the event Guide. It is essential that you check it, approve it or make any amendments needed by the deadline given. Exact dates will be confirmed early 2027 via communication with venue lead contacts.
From early April
You will be required to pick up your allocation of Guides, posters and signage from one of our regional pick up points. This begins the main promotional period with participants expected to promote the event widely in their local area.
Saturday 15th May
DAW 2027 opens. You must open at the times advertised in your Guide entry.
Monday 31st May
DAW 2027 closes. You will be required to remove all your DAW signs from public areas and asked to complete a feedback form on your experience participating in the event.
