Low Fi Casting : Learn the secrets of casting silver using cuttlefish bone and sand. 

Saturday 30th May 1-2pm Demonstration, 2-6pm Workshop

Sian will demonstrate the fundamentals of these two ancient casting techniques. 

After her demonstration you can choose create your own cast piece in silver and be guided through the process of creating your own a cast object. You can bring a small form (no bigger than 1.8 cm x 1cm ... a ring for example) or use a master model that Sian can provide.

Demonstration: Free,  all welcome and will be an hour long .

The participatory workshop:
£20 plus cost of metal will be 4 hours with a tea break.
