John will be talking about his approach in designing furniture for his international clientele as well as an exciting house currently being built in Guernsey . The house has many examples of John’s acclaimed furniture, including prototype chairs from previous commissions, and their collection of contemporary artworks . There are four areas of the garden which include Jenny’s colourful potager, cleft oak fruit cage, glasshouse and straw-bale retreat . This adjoins John’s evolving grass garden, rolling lawns, sculptures and topiary . TALKS at 2.30pm and 4pm | Entry £10, children £5. In aid of Dorset Visual Arts Charity Visitors are requested to remove their shoes when entering the house . You are welcome to spend time drawing in the grounds, please bring your own equipment, although we will have pencils and postcards available . You may bring a picnic - to be eaten outside only!
